AEM's V2 Air Intake system for the 02-06 Acura RSX features a very unique dual induction design, holding many advantages over traditional air intake systems. Most intake systems are designed around one of two proven performance theories, the idea that a wider, longer pipe will pull in colder air for more horsepower or that a thinner shorter pipe will improve throttle response for more torque. The AEM V2 intake allows a single intake system to simultaneously incorporate both of these advantages for a truly unique and unmatched performance gain on your RSX. The final product measured an incredible 18hp peak power increase on AEM’s 2002 RSX Type-S test car! This system features a unique V2 gunmetal coating and is available for both the RSX Base and Type-S models.

On a dyno graph, the area under the power band (or power curve) represents the amount of effort that an engine is producing. The larger the overall area under the curve, the more power your engine is making. The AEM V2 utilizes a dual chamber (using two different diameters and lengths of piping) that creates multiple frequency sound waves to produce the largest area under the curve of any intake system on the market. These sound waves help charge the cylinders with more air throughout the entire rpm range and are what enables the V2 to outperform even AEM's renouned Cold Air systems.

All the features of the AEM EMS V2! While this unit only powers high impedance injectors (like Injector Dynamics), it can power low impedance units with a resistor pack from Toyota.

First of all, let me kill the myth that the AEM V2 is a CAI. It is neither cold air, nor a short ram. It is a league of its own. The length falls somewhere in the middle. So no, its not gonna suck in water and hydrolock your engine
